Maturing Emotionally Plays a Big Role in Adults
We tend to think that only when we are younger, we are to learn how to handle our emotions and learning to deal with situations and people. Yet, I think that as we go into adulthood, we need to take into consideration that we also need to learn how to handle our emotions in everyday life, and within every area of life.
Reason being is, as kids we had a vision for our lives, and what we wanted to be, what we wanted to do, the things we wanted to have, and the one thing everyone also wants lots of money to be able to do it all.
Then adulthood comes around, and we get hit hard in the face when we see one day that we are not where we wanted to be, not even close. We might be stressed, depressed, overwhelmed, unhappy and feeling lost because emotionally you are feeling totally bummed.
Thinking is this all there is in life?
Is this what my life was meant to be?
I’m I not ever going to have some type stability in my life… in all areas to be exact?
I know that feeling, as I was there once, thinking what happened, when did it all go so wrong, crying day I and day out, praying to God for some type of guidance or miracle to make it all go away. Yet one day that sign came to me via a CD, which opened eyes and my brain that in order to turn it all around for me and my family, I needed to start working on myself, by working first on training my mind that I needed to start this process and needed to get myself into reading and listening to audios that will help me grow emotionally, specifically from the inside out.
This is when I started to grow and mature emotionally, and when 2 people do it together, bigger things can happen. For me unfortunately was not the case, as my significant other did not want to mature and since I did, that is the reason why I am here today, a lot more emotionally mature and continuing to grow every day and for the rest of my life.
That is why I think that it is very important that everyone starting from the age of 18, starts to think of giving themselves the opportunity to really learn about life and how to handle it, especially when tough situations, life transitions and challenges come around. Life is life, and it stops for no one, so we must do what time does… to keep going…. Yet not just because… to keep going with a purpose, a goal, a vision and full determination to make it happen no matter what. Yes, you will fall plenty of times, what matters is that you do not stay there, what matters is for you to get up and keep going. The only reason that could stop you from doing so is because it was your time to go. As long as you breath you can keep pushing and keep going. Is ok, to stop and cry, is ok to stop and scream, what is not ok, is to stay there…always remember that. After all we are humans with feelings… knowing how to control them and not let them control us is what we need to work hard for
First most, women are the ones that need to make sure they are in contact connection with their emotions and all areas because we have so many roles of responsibility especially when we decide to become an all-around woman… what do I mean and all around women? A woman that loves and believes in herself, and that never forgets to keep herself happy in order to be able to be the best wife, mother, friend, sister, daughter, leader, employee and be able to help her community be better for the future generations to come, to be the role model her kids need in order for them to be the role models of the future and for their future kids.
It all starts with us and if we do not, take a stand to make it right, to stop making excuses and start acting and to stop waiting for it to magically happen, or have others make it happen for us. Through happiness from the inside comes, when you do things for you and for your kids, and the more you do it, the more you want to do it.

My life has never been the same, and will never be the same, because I push my brain and myself to reach the next level and the next level. Even in the middle of one of my toughest times in my life in where I was trying to save my marriage, with some one that did not want the same thing. I let myself be taken control over and placed fear over making me think that because I did not have a man in my life, that I would be no one… when in reality it was the total opposite in my case, because I had the wrong man in my life, I was nothing… and because I trained my mind to believe that I was someone on my own, I was able to let go of the fear of being a failure, and today I stand tall in full believe in the strength and the capability that I have a woman and as a single mom.
Two of the best techniques that have helped me to train my mindset has been personal growth through books/audios and meditation. Personal books and audios from the most powerful mentors help you to understand the choices that you have made in your life, and to understand that is the reason where you are today and feeling the way you do. They help you to map out a new solution for all areas and write down how you plan to act. Also know this, that it won’t happen overnight, what happens overnight is the way you see things and the way you start to think. Becoming consistent and turning your life around needs to become a habit in where you do not need a push, you automatically just do it without having to think about it.
The second technique is meditation, this techniques helps you to learn to forgive yourself, love yourself, believe in yourself and be much happier with yourself from the inside out. It is the best way to inner connect with you internally, so you can start to heal broken wounds that make you doubtful and fearful and lead you towards self-talk, empowerment and self-motivation so you can keep pushing yourself more, by learning to see the brighter side of things, and be able to handle them emotionally without taking you or those around you deeper.
By incorporating meditation and personal growth daily you will start to see small improvements if you do it consistently for the next 30 days, and then you will want to see how you will be the next 30 and then the next 30, and then 3 months later it became a habit with results you never thought possible.
The Importance of Exercise as Physical Fitness
One of the biggest factors for all areas to take its course, is the physical one. Why? Because if your body, the temple, the only place you really have to live is not at full force, nothing else will fall into place. If your body feels tired and with no energy at all, then you will really have no strength or energy to get your body or even your mind to want to do anything. Also, if you are feeding it nothing bad food, drinks and nutrients and giving it not exercise of at least 30 minutes a day, then all you can really expect for your future is a fat one full of health issues for you and your children and I am sure that is not what you have in mind correct?
That is why regular physical activity is one of the most important factors of your health life because they help you benefit in the following ways:

Lower your risk of heart disease
Lower your risk for type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome
Lower your risk of some cancers
Strengthen your bones and muscles
Improve your mental health and mood

Fitting regular exercise into your daily schedule may seem difficult at first, yet know the first step is always the hardest as you have been training your mind not to care about your body and you have a habit of doing so. That is why you train your mind, as you train your body to start small with exercise and go up from there.
Remember you cannot expect yourself to just go out and do 1 hour exercises just like that, you must find ways to get you to be able to do it, and now more then ever there are so many fun ways to exercise and you do not need a gym membership to do it… if you have a TV, Computer, Laptop and even a Cell Phone, then you can exercise in the comfort of your own home. No need to waste gas, is easier to just get dressed and press play. That means “NO EXCUSES”
So what are you waiting for, start getting yourself and your body moving… and when you exercise first thing in the morning, it helps you to be more energized and it helps your metabolism to move throughout the day. Don’t wait any longer, take the first step towards a better and healthier you.
